That's just the thing: we will never tell you we love you. In fact, we're here only to hold hands across state lines and yell at the world. We're here to try to touch you across this chasm of flown things. Not even that. At most, I will teach you how to make a gin smoothie when there's nothing left in the house. Hannah can teach you several languages and what to do when your car breaks up with you. Thanks for coming out.

i'm crying over here in indiana. crying.
because i miss you, of course.
and also, i want to live in a place that does not overlook cornfields and/or crackheads and/or train tracks.
WHEN IS JULY GOING TO GET HERE?!?
NOT SOON ENOUGH!! but hey, on the bright side: by the time you get here, i'll have furniture again.
meantime, when mamie visits, we'll be sitting indian-style on a twin mattress amidst boxes. and we all know how much she'll love that.
Holy crap!! Congratulations, man. That's all kinds of awesome. And I'm with Sally: my view is, uh... well. Not like that.
Wonderful! Well deserved! I'll be over soon to help stock and unstock the liquor cabinet.
FYI. I helped Hannah move yesterday and during the hours and hours of being there, we didn't see anyone under the age of 85.
At some point yesterday, Hannah says something like:
You remember that movie In Her Shoes? I kind of feel like Cameron Diaz when she moved into the retirement community.
